ACC Alumni and New Grantees Gather in Hong Kong
ACC Hong Kong held their annual ACC Awards Ceremony on October 11 to recognize the most recent cohort of fellows.
The fellowship awards ceremony was attended by ACC's many friends, both new and longstanding, giving the evening the feel of a large family reunion. There were presentations and performances by ACC alumni honoring the Patrons' Circle—a network of support vital to sustaining ACC's work of providing annual fellowships for international cultural exchange. ACC is indebted to Dr. Xu Xiaodong (2004 Fellow) and Duncan Pescod (Chief Executive Officer of West Kowloon Cultural District Authority) for their intriguing dialogue on Chinese artifacts and the Palace Museum, as well as Tsang Man Tung (2009 Fellow), Chen Kai (2008 Fellow), Chan Ming Long (1994 Fellow), Law Wing Fai (1994 Fellow), and the Wuji Ensemble for a performance of Chinese music and dance improvisation. These engaging performances displayed the talents of ACC alumni from a breadth of artistic disciplines. A warm thank you to our alumni and friends who traveled from far and wide to attend this ceremony celebrating the newest members of the ACC community!
