ACC Taiwan announces 2018 Taiwan Fellowship recipients

We are delighted to announce that 2018 ACC Taiwan Fellowship have been awarded to 6 individuals. They are all talented artists or arts professionals currently at the forefront of arts and cultural developments in Taiwan. 

Congratulations to the new grantees and wish them all a very promising future with the grant support from ACC! 

1.Ying-Chih Chen (Dance) -  Dance Artist  

A six-month New York Fellowship to research the Limón technique and explore the diversity of movement practices in New York City

2.Choon Eiow Koh (Theater) - Director/Playwright/Actor, Approaching Theatre         

A six-month New York Fellowship to observe experimental theater and meet performing and visual artists 

3.Au-sen Lee (Visual Art) - Director, Ghost Mountain Ghost Shovel Art Collective     

A six-month New York Fellowship to meet choreographers and dancers, partake in dance workshops, and explore city’s live art scene. 

4.Pao-Chang Tsai (Theater) - Director, Tainaner Ensemble       

A six-month Individual Fellowship to research musical performing and training pedagogy in Seoul and New York

5.Yuwen Weng (Art History) - Researcher, Southern Branch of National Palace Museum   

                                   

A three-month Individual Fellowship to visit Islamic studies centers and Islamic art collections in Boston 

6.Ting-Fu Fan (Conservation) - Fonder / Conservator, San-Jian Art & Conservation 

A one-month Individual Fellowship to survey Chinese painting and calligraphy collections and meet curators and conservators in the U.S.
