Sandra Eula Lee: Make of/Make Do

December 27, 2016 - May 6, 2017

Sandra Lee’s installations incorporate sculptural, photographic, and drawing traditions to consider ways in which place is created among changing urban and environmental conditions. The sculptures and installations she constructs are informed by her observations of daily life and through the collecting and reconfiguring of the materials that pass through it.

Sandra Eula Lee received an ACC Fellowship in 2009 to travel to Korea.

Sandra Eula Lee: The Bend

April 23, 2018 - May 27, 2018

Sandra Eula Lee’s work is inspired by the temporary structures built by residents in Beijing where neighborhoods underwent constant demolition and relocation of communities. These structures include make-shift stands, small ‘impromptu’ gardens, and improvised spaces. Her installation pays tribute to the enduring human spirit found in these everyday creative acts.
