This Website and E-Mail Privacy Policy describes how The Asian Cultural Council collects, uses, and shares non-personal and personal information when you visit the accny.org website and when you receive e-mails sent by The Asian Cultural Council. 



Please note that this privacy policy does not apply to any websites other than accny.org, including websites to which you may link from accny.org (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube), or to e-mails that are not sent by The Asian Cultural Council. 1. Information That We Collect

A. Non-Personal Information

When you visit the accny.org site, we may collect the IP address of the device you use to connect to the internet. A. Operation of Our Business and This Website

The Asian Cultural Council uses the information we collect about and from you to respond to your requests, resolve problems, provide our Website to you, improve our offerings and to create new services, and market our products or services and those of our affiliates, partners and third parties to you. We use Billing Information only for purposes of authentication and to process donations online. 3. Our Policies Concerning Children

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Any portion of the accny.org website intended for children under 13 will not request any personal information. 5. Disputes and Choice of Law and Location for Resolving Disputes

The laws of the State of New York govern this Privacy Policy and any claim or dispute that you may have against us, without regard to New York State’s conflict of laws principles, and that the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall have no applicability. Any disputes or claims that you may have with or against us will be resolved exclusively by a court located in New York County, New York, and you agree and submit to the exercise of personal and subject matter jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in New York County, New York for the purpose of litigating any such claim or action.

6. International Users

The Asian Cultural Council’s website is hosted in the United States of America. If you are accessing the website from the European Union, Asia or any other jurisdiction with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure which differ from United States laws, please be advised that through your use of the website, you are transferring your personal information to the United States of America and you consent to that transfer.
