The Asian Cultural Council will present the 2nd annual East-West Dialogues with acclaimed theater director Peter Sellars at NYU Law School on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 6:00 PM (doors open at 5:30 PM).

 

East-West Dialogues is an annual lecture series that engages distinguished thought leaders from the arts and cultural fields in Asia and the West. The series aims to encourage critical thinking and promote cross-cultural dialogue, exchange, and understanding to further the mission of the Asian Cultural Council.

In his lecture, Peter Sellars will address how international cultural interaction has become essential to a shared future – enlarging the national experience, generating knowledge of world conditions, and stimulating artistic work for the new century.






        

      

East-West Dialogue with Ian Buruma and Pico Iyer

The Asian Cultural Council brought Ian Buruma and Pico Iyer together for our inaugural East-West Dialogue on June 15 at The Morgan Library & Museum in New York City.
