Out of Jungle

For Film Fest Ghent's golden jubilee, the festival is launching 2x25: 25 composers were invited to write a short piece of music. Subsequently, 25 filmmakers were inspired by the music to make a short film. As part of this project, Teresa Barrozo (ACC 2014) and Jia Zhangke created the short film "Out of the Jungle".

The Walking Mountain

Sandra Eula Lee (ACC 2009) is a multidisciplinary artist who alters ordinary and found objects to explore notions of permanence. This exhibition showcases selections from The Walking Mountain series, which primarily consists of over 80 drawings created since 2014.

O~Fortuna! | Law Man Lok Solo Exhibition

With his "kitsch pastiche" artistic approach which includes compassion and humor for the world, Law Man Lok (ACC 2012, 2015) implemented a painting game of joy and anger by citing classics, and also led the audience to relive his own journey of jester aesthetics from Goya to Zunzi.

Wu Chi-Tsung Synchronicity

Poisonous Weeds

Join Lisa Ross (ACC 2016) for their solo photo-based exhibition, Poisonous Weeds, which explores a series of defaced propaganda murals created during the Cultural Revolution in China. Ross reinterprets these murals through manipulation of color, hue, and contrast to evoke distressed textures and saturated pigments to construct feelings of triumph, defeat, dissolution, and change.
