Marching Towards the New Normal

An independent dance artist known for his blended use of Oriental spirit and Western methodology, Wayson Poon (2019 Fellow) works internationally as a choreographer, researcher, and dance educator. He received ACC’s support to conduct movement research in Indonesia and the US. Although his stay in New York was disrupted due to COVID-19, Wayson’s resourcefulness led him to Japan, where he continued his movement research in Yokohama, Tokyo, and Kyoto.
