2019 and 2020 have witnessed unprecedented times as we all adapted to profound changes in our societies and daily lives. Our work at ACC is more relevant than ever. Artists and scholars are the connectors and bridge-builders for mutual respect and international understanding. 24 talented individuals from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau received ACC’s support in 2019 and 2020 to connect individuals and sustain international dialogue across regions and cultures.

Like many non-profits, ACC has been affected by lockdowns and social distancing measures. Despite these challenges, we see our alumni and grantees unleashing human ingenuity, making the impossible possible, pioneering new forms of expression, and bringing solace and hope to their respective communities. We remain grateful to our patrons and friends for their unwavering support while our work has been affected by the pandemic.

Our work would not have been possible without the ACC Hong Kong Foundation Board, with Mr. Hans Michael Jebsen as Chairman providing his steadfast leadership to the ACC mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau program. We are also indebted to our fellowship sponsors, Patrons’ and Friends’ Circle, donors, supporters, and friends for their trust and support in the meaningful work we do for our cultural landscape.
