『Transparent Boundary』は、鳥が窓に衝突する「ウィンドウ・ストライク」という生態学的現象を探求する、35分間の没入型現代音楽・ニューメディア・インスタレーション・パフォーマンスです。音、気流、キネティック・インスタレーションを駆使して感覚的な実験空間を構築し、観客は鳥のさえずりを辿りながら会場内を自由に動き回り、可視的なものと不可視なものの間にある境界を行き来する体験へと誘われます。
パーカッショニストのYen-Hsuan Wuと古筝（こそう）奏者のHsin Fangによるライブ・コラボレーション・パフォーマンスを軸に、電子音やインスタレーションを織り交ぜた本作『Transparent Boundary』は、鳥たちが目に見えない障壁に遭遇する様子を、人間の精神のあり方になぞらえたメタファーとして描き出します。この「目に見えないトラウマ」を探求することを通じて、本作は種を超え、私たちに共通する脆さの中に、互いに共鳴し合える何かを見出そうと試みています。
