Taiwanese sheng soloist Li-Chin LI (ACC 2021) will perform as the featured soloist in Chia-Hui Chen’s new work Réplisome IV at the Rheometer Concert presented by C-LAB Taiwan Sound Lab during Ars Electronica in Linz. Drawing inspiration from the evolutionary process of a single cell, the piece unfolds in four stages, interweaving the sheng, symphony orchestra, real-time electronics, and AI-generated musical textures.
