Kenneth WONG See Huat (ACC 2024) is an independent curator, researcher, and heritage practitioner based in Malaysia. He has been nominated as a candidate for Coordinator of the ICOM-CC Modern Materials and Contemporary Art Working Group for the 2026–2029 term. His candidacy reflects years of interdisciplinary work connecting contemporary art, cultural heritage, conservation, and community engagement across Southeast Asia. If elected, Kenneth hopes to foster greater international collaboration, encourage knowledge exchange between established and emerging professionals, and promote stronger representation of Asian and Global South perspectives within the conservation of modern and contemporary art. This nomination aligns with his broader commitment to making heritage practice more inclusive, collaborative, and socially relevant.
