搜尋/篩選活動Speaking in Shadows, created by three immigrants and longtime collaborators—Daniel Arturo Almeida, Nyssa Chow, and me—presents a resplendent garden of cut paper and archetypal depictions of people whose absence is articulated, creating a space where the poetry of migrant lives is named, beheld, and voiced through light and shadow.
查閱活動Transparent Boundary is a 35-minute immersive contemporary music and new media installation performance that explores the ecological phenomenon of bird "window strikes". By constructing a sensory experimental space utilizing sound, wind flow, and kinetic installations, the audience is invited to move freely through the venue, following bird songs and traversing the gap between the visible and the invisible.
Driven by a live collaborative performance featuring percussionist Yen-Hsuan Wu and Guzheng musician Hsin Fang, interwoven with electronic sound and installations, Transparent Boundary translates the birds' encounter with invisible barriers into a metaphor for the human psyche. Through exploring this "invisible trauma," the work seeks to cross species boundaries and find a shared resonance within our collective vulnerability.

查閱活動In celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Taipei Cultural Center in New York, the Taiwan-US Arts and Culture Talk Series will host its fourth event on Thursday evening, July 30. Titled "Borderless Habitat: Ecology and Art in Shared Practice," the talk features a dialogue between Taiwanese artist Chiaochi Chou and American ecologist Maria Uriarte, a professor at Columbia University. The two speakers will share how they collaborate to reveal the invisible ecological processes within forests, opening up new possibilities for contemporary artistic practice.

查閱活動Brain Storm, one of Jennifer Wen Ma's earliest experimental videos, is on view again at The Phillips Collection in Washington D.C. It was originally presented at the Museum in 2009, as one of their first contemporary art projects in dialogue with selections Wen Ma chose from their modern and Impressionist collections including Paul Cézanne, Arthur Dove, Jacob Lawrence, and Mark Rothko.

查閱活動Le Hien Minh is presenting two works, Me So Horny (2025) and Blessed Lady of the Nail (2024), in the exhibition The Spirits of Maritime Crossing 2026, a Collateral Event of the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. The exhibition is showing at the historic Palazzo Rocca Contarini Corfù, a 14th-century Venetian Gothic and Baroque palace in Venice. Curated by Prof. Dr. Apinan Poshyananda, the exhibition brings together 20 artists from Southeast Asia, Serbia, and Ireland. The hum in minor keys of the voiceless from distant places is brought to Venice, inviting viewers to slow down, breathe deeply, and encounter these crossings through film, performance, sound, painting, and installation.
