Elise THORON (ACC 2008, 2010, 2015) will be participating in a symposium with Japanese theater scholars and NYU theater and gender studies scholar Gwendolyn Alker who is writing the first biography of Maria Irene Fornes. Thoron will be doing a workshop for the public using Fornes techniques for activating the imagination at the beginning of rehearsal processes, and also a talk back after one of the last performances.
