查閱活動It was meant to be, and yet it was still crazy: four Spanish and four Italian singers, with a fifth Italian to help out as an administrative and musical factotum, crossed the Atlantic to recruit an orchestra and chorus in the New World and bring Europe’s premier artistic product, Italian opera, to a city that had never seen it.

Three doctoral candidates and friends currently based in United States—Helen (New England Conservatory), Chloe (State University of New York at Stony Brooks), and Kin (Jacobs School of Music Indiana University), are alumni of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and come together as a piano trio for their debut recital: Relative Reflections.

查閱活動Join Asia Art Archive in America on June 3rd for an introduction to Ellen Pau’s work by the artist herself, presented at Asia Art Archive in America in conjunction with the survey exhibition Ellen Pau: She Moves at SculptureCenter. The exhibition is Pau’s first-ever solo in the United States. Following Pau’s artist lecture (provisionally titled Approaching Ellen Pau) will be a conversation with exhibition curator Freya Chou.
查閱活動Le Hien Minh is presenting two works, Me So Horny (2025) and Blessed Lady of the Nail (2024), in the exhibition The Spirits of Maritime Crossing 2026, a Collateral Event of the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. The exhibition is showing at the historic Palazzo Rocca Contarini Corfù, a 14th-century Venetian Gothic and Baroque palace in Venice. Curated by Prof. Dr. Apinan Poshyananda, the exhibition brings together 20 artists from Southeast Asia, Serbia, and Ireland. The hum in minor keys of the voiceless from distant places is brought to Venice, inviting viewers to slow down, breathe deeply, and encounter these crossings through film, performance, sound, painting, and installation.
