The Composers Now and Asian Cultural Council Collaborative Creative Residency program at The Pocantico Center connects distinguished composers with ACC artists from a wide range of disciplines to exchange cultural and artistic ideas, and culminates in a public showing representing their collective vision.

In the fall of 2022, ACC New York Fellowship grantees Wu Chien-Wei (ACC 2022) and Cheuk Wing Nam (ACC 2022) participated in this residency program with composers inti figgis-vizueta and Selma Savolainen. After a week of immersive exploration and discovery together at Pocantico’s richly colorful and sprawling Tarrytown, NY campus, the collaborators presented their works-in-progress featuring images, movement, props, and sounds gathered from their resident environment.
