A two part celebration of Tibetan culture and tradition through food, education, and music. On Friday, spend an afternoon and evening exploring a multi-faceted approach to compassion through sacred art, meditation, Tibetan medicine, documentary film, food, stories, conversation, and dance. On Saturday, world-acclaimed award-winning Tibetan singer Yungchen Lhamo will perform at La MaMa for the first time, accompanied by guitarist John Alevizakis.
