Kenneth Wong (ACC 2025), a Malaysia-based curator, cultural researcher and founder of People Ideas Culture, invites fellow ACC grantees, alumni and cultural practitioners worldwide to explore the working beta of CultureAtlas.
CultureAtlas is an emerging digital heritage platform connecting cultural objects, historic places, community memories and living heritage across geographical boundaries. Combining curator-led interpretation, published archival references, first-hand community narratives and clearly distinguished AI-assisted suggestions, the platform explores how cultural knowledge can be documented, shared and revisited responsibly.
The current beta features 32 entries spanning objects, buildings, festivals and cultural routes. Fellow ACC peers are invited to navigate the platform, test its features and share constructive feedback on usability, interpretation, accessibility, cultural representation and potential applications in their own communities.
This voluntary, international beta-testing initiative also welcomes conversations with prospective research collaborators, curators and cultural institutions.
