The second Taipei C-Camerata International Contemporary Music Festival, “Cross-Sound 2026,” brings together four contemporary music ensembles from Thailand, South Korea, and Taiwan. Through world premieres and cross-border commissions, the festival creates a platform for contemporary music exchange across Asia with an international outlook.

The festival’s organizer, C-Camerata (Taipei C-Camerata Chamber Ensemble), will give the world premiere of Tung Chao-Ming’s Moon Giant, alongside compelling works by Mei-Fang Lin, Wei-Chieh Lin, as well as Japanese composer Chatori Shimizu's "Gonxi Melon" (2025), showcasing the creative vitality of a new generation.

“Cross-Sound” is more than a festival name: it represents the dynamic interplay of different cultures and creative perspectives. Through international commissions, world premieres, and collaborative projects, “Cross-Sound 2026” continues to build a platform for contemporary music exchange across Asia, positioning Taiwan as an important hub in the international new-music network and inviting the world to rediscover Asia through music.
