Written for the NakedEye Ensemble, Better Than The Alternative presents views of the aging process, in the words of old folks by Neil ROLNICK (ACC 1994, 2007). Rolnick interviewed about 3 dozen of his contemporaries, septuagenarians and older, from a variety of different backgrounds and living situations. He used their answers, recorded on video, to explore what it feels like to get old.  NakedEye's musicians play around and with the words and images of interviewees.
