Throughout the challenges of 2020, the Asian Cultural Council has remained committed to our mission of providing artists and arts professionals transformative opportunities for international cultural exchange.

Since the pandemic began, we have adapted nearly 70% of our 2020 grants to hybrid or completely virtual models, and launched a new online public program, inDialogue, to address the critical need for international understanding in a fractured world.

Upon the arrival of the New York Fellowship Spring 2020 cohort, we interviewed theater maker Abner Delina, Jr. (Philippines), visual artist Au Hoi Lam (Hong Kong), and lighting designer Ray Tseng (Taiwan). Here are their stories alongside highlights of our 2020 inDialogue series. It is a snapshot of fellowships just beginning, conversations that have continued, and opportunities yet to come.

We ask for your consideration in making a gift to ACC this year.

The critical, unrestricted funds we raise not only help make international connectivity possible, but also ensure artists, scholars, and arts professionals from the U.S. and Asia continue to generate the dialogue and creativity that define our present and speak most poignantly to the future.

ACCNY is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Make your tax-deductible donation by December 31 to ensure that it can be deducted from this year’s taxes.

Make your gift to ACC today, or support ACC by purchasing art by our grantees on Artspace.
