He has been engaged in interdisciplinary activities in the fields of art and music, creating works that combine sound and imagery. To explore social issues beyond personal and national boundaries, he has conducted international fieldwork involving recordings and video documentation.
During this fellowship, he will examine the changing meaning of “environment” in the Anthropocene, investigate artworks that have employed environmental approaches in modern art and sound art archives, and continue his research on sound sculpture while engaging with New York’s experimental and electronic music scene.
