Wu Chi-Tsung Synchronicity

O~Fortuna! | Law Man Lok Solo Exhibition

September 08, 2023 - September 30, 2023

With his "kitsch pastiche" artistic approach which includes compassion and humor for the world, Law Man Lok (ACC 2012, 2015) implemented a painting game of joy and anger by citing classics, and also led the audience to relive his own journey of jester aesthetics from Goya to Zunzi.

PRISM Quartet and Susie Ibarra: Record Release Concert

October 10, 2023

Composer and percussionist Susie Ibarra (ACC 2007, 2018) joins PRISM Quartet for a concert celebrating the XAS Records release of their most recent collaboration: Ibarra’s “Procession Along the Aciga Tree.” The program, curated by Ibarra, also includes new arrangements of works by Ibarra and Filipino composer José Maceda (ACC multiple grants since 1974), and the premiere of “Spring in New York” by Indonesian composer Gardika Gigih (ACC 2022).
