Speaking in Shadows: An Invocation of Migrant Presence

Speaking in Shadows, created by three immigrants and longtime collaborators—Daniel Arturo Almeida, Nyssa Chow, and me—presents a resplendent garden of cut paper and archetypal depictions of people whose absence is articulated, creating a space where the poetry of migrant lives is named, beheld, and voiced through light and shadow.
